Glad to meet you. I am a glorious gal named Gretchen. I am a goodhearted girl, but a tad guarded with other dogs- Now just because I don’t wanna share my home, it doesn’t mean that I’m not glowing with personality and generous with my love- because I am! I’m great with cats, goodness I really am gallant! I am even good natured around children, but they need to be gentle and gracious…then we should get along just great. I am a smart girl too and real food motivated- it doesn’t even have to be gourmet- so teaching me new things should be a cinch. I am even housebroken and crate trained already!  I don’t mean to gloat, but I am a gorgeous gal, just look at my long legs and this girlish figure- ya, it’s ok to gawk! Yes we are a pair, a pair of cute 7 year old Chihuahuas! Our mom cannot care for us anymore so here we are starting over. I'm Maddie, at 12 lbs I am the outgoing "calm" lady. I like to hang in someone's lap and enjoy a daily walk.
I need to bond with my new family but once I do I am a very loyal and loving girl.

 Since I want to go home with my brother Saberz we are saying no other pets in the household and no children. By myself I could probably handle a slow introduction with other animals but frankly children are not my thing.

Her foster family reports she is doing well with the small dog and the cats. She really enjoys walks and making sure her person is in sight at all times! She is about 8 years old and weighs 47lbs. Hello there ladies! I am a sweet little dog who seems to prefer the company of female humans. I am a healthy and outgoing little dog who will enjoy trick training and any training that involves food rewards! I am looking for a home that will be patient as we explore the world together and take steps to keep me safe.

 

 

I am worried about new people at first and especially think that men are a little more worrisome. But I enjoy the company of other small friendly dogs. I am best suited for a home with adults females and no cats. The shelter highly recommends that we work with a trainer on basic obedience and decreasing my anxiety overall. This training will be required as part of my adoption. I am about years of age and I weigh 9lbs. I am Spayed!

I am a young, athletic, and energetic girl! Us cattledog types can sometimes have quirks and such that mean we need extra training and daily exercise. I am good natured with people but think that barking dogs need to be barked back at! I am looking for a home with breed experience, a commitment to reward based training, and daily activities.

Jackie is a black and white female Jack Russell Terrier mix. She is approximately 8 years old. She weighs about 16 lbs. She has been spayed. Notes from my finder say: Most comfortable with men. Women, teenagers & was briefly around children 5-7 yrs. Rides well in car, outgoing/friendly, calm. Knows sit & down. 

 

 

 The shelter is recommending if there are children in the adoptive home they are 10 years or older and gentle with pets.

They report that we are housetrained, already know the basic set of tricks and even have a good grasp of the human language! Just ask us if we want to go out for a walk! But he has mange and will need 5 months of treatment. And then he'll need hip surgery. But he's so awesome and worth it all. (Foster or adopt option!)

Hello there! I am a happy mixed breed dog with a cute nub tail and gentle nature. I am sweet and enjoy hanging out with people. I am young and just the right size. I have a treatable skin issue that the shelter is taking care of and a little hitch in my step which may keep me from ever doing agility.

I visited Mason in his kennel today. He is filling out nicely, and is feeling better these days. His hair is still patchy but  continues to grow thicker and healthier. Mason had a lovable silly grin when he met me (just didn't want to show his silly side today for the camera)

 

 

 

But I am very friendly and will still need daily exercise to stay out of mischief and feeling my best.  The shelter highly recommends reward based classes as a way to bond and teach me new stuff. I am a little over 1 year of age and I weigh 52lbs. Ask about me today for adoption or foster!
