I am soft and sweet young lady looking for someone to protect me and keep me safe. I am an active cuddle bug when I am out of the kennel and I really dislike noise and barking dogs. I am still young and in need of gentle reward based training.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A busy household may be too much for me but a loving family with a gentle social dog may be a great fit. The shelter is requiring we take training classes or have a private training consult with a certified trainer that utilizes all positive training methods.

I LOVE to train and I am super smart! I am friendly but can be a bit much so I am looking for a home with a single person, couple, or family with kids over the age of 8 years old and NO cats. I think other dogs are a hoot and would enjoy a playful canine sibling. I am about (age n/a - young) years of age and am a pint-sized super hero at 16lbs.

Hi the shelter named me Cecily, a pretty and delicate name for me. I really am a delicate girl that needs more experience in this big old world. To help make those experiences positive the shelter is asking that we take reward based classes together. I like to think I am a smart girl so this should be a lot of fun for all of us.

Here's a wonderful update note from Sierrra's Mom...   
"Sierra is very spoiled now. We Love her very very much. I am so blessed to have this girl in our lives. She lays on my lap every night and watches tv with me."




 

June 2013 It is with tears of joy that i am writing to announce that after 6 months in the shelter, (and 1 month in an amazing foster home) after being seized because of neglect, Sierra has been adopted into the Taj Mahal of doggy homes!  Animal advocates themselves, Brian & Marla (Sierra's new mom & dad) have created a dog paradise that is their 3 acre, fully fenced, home.  We have Angela Adams, director of Born Again Pit Bull Rescue, to thank for referring these amazing adopters to Sierra.  Thank you Angela for always having the dog's best interest in mind!  Thank you Roxy for being an amazing foster, and thank you Marla & Brian for opening your home to rescue dogs!!!!

This young teenager (9 months old) is a  fabulous boy outside of his kennel. He is a sweetheart, likes people and other dogs and just needs a geeky type trainer to show him the ropes - he is smart, responsive and loves training!

  

I am an active and outgoing dude looking for an active home! I have the whole world in front of me and I am hoping for a home that will go on the journey with me and include reward based classes as part of my adoption.

TRANSFERRED to Family Dogs New Life Shelter!

Hi there, my name is Wizard and I will mesmerize you with my slight of hand! I know some tricks and I am ready to learn some more. A smart dog like me needs an owner dedicated to giving my lots to do!

 

 

 

 

 

 I can jump real high, so you can't leave me unattended in the backyard, or I might end up here again! It took me awhile to get used to the folks here at the shelter and I was a bit flinchy. So a home with children over the age of 10 would be best, and I hope you understand that you will need to take things slowly at first.
