"CHINA" happily ever after

ADOPTED!




This sweet angel did lose her eye in a case of abuse, but she is just as perky as ever, and is looking forward to her second chance at life.  





China would like to take things slow getting to know you, and needs just a wee bit of patience so she can acclimate to her new surroundings.  Once she gets to know you she can be a loving and remarkable gal.

"BUTTERS" four pawed perfection

ADOPTED!!




Butters came into Multnomah County Animal Shelter very very sick.  Thanks to their incredible health department and Dolly's Fund, four months later Butters is ready to take on the world!



Butters is 8 years old and loves people, dogs, cats and kids!  He is the quiet type, but not shy at all.  He loves to play fetch, sunbathe, and snuggle under the covers.

"PEBBLE" sweetness through and through

Pebble is a little darling who has come leaps and bounds since first arriving at the shelter.  Thanks to her foster home, she went from extremely shy (where you couldn't even touch her) to cuddle-bug extraordinaire.





She's quiet, prefers dogs over cats, and is looking for a patient home who will continue with her enrichment and guide her with positive introductions to her surrounding environments.

"CAPRICE" one in a million

She's a beauty!  Meet Caprice, a stunning three year old pit bull with great manners to match.  She is perfectly crate trained, walks fantastic on the leash, does great with other dogs, and she's great with kids!




Caprice would do fantastic in an active forever home, perhaps with an active boy dog to play with and she loves kids.

There is not one volunteer that is not smitten with Smitty.  This gentleman is not the spring chicken he used to be, but he's still got all the moves!  Check out his music video: 




Gentle, loving, he doesn't ask for much, just a warm bed next to his person, and a home without cats is all he wants.  He will return the love in spades!

"MANDY" pupscicles

Mandy is an absolutely wonderful dog who is deserved of a second chance at life.  Mandy is a wee little thing, just 40 pounds and looks like a puppy even though she's already 3 years old.  She missed out on important doggy socialization, but she is making great strides learning how to meet her canine buddies at the shelter.




She learns extremely quickly, is bright, intelligent and charming, and will make an amazing canine companion to any loving, forever home willing to continue her training.

"DORI" red-head wonder

Dori is a sweet, sweet, sensitive American Shelter Dog who has found herself at Multnomah County Animal Shelter.  She is 5 years old, mature enough to know her manners, but still young at heart.  




Dori is quiet in her kennel and enjoys taking treats gently from strangers hands.  




In fact, she is so proud of herself that she has met so many strangers in the weeks that she has been at the shelter!  She would love to continue with new and slow introductions, and continued enrichment.
