Quick Stop Photo has Joined the Team!

As many of you know, I've been maintaining two available dog bulletin boards in Portland. The blog and the community boards go hand in hand. The boards each feature 1 or 2 dogs currently available for adoption from MCAS. They are located at New Seasons on 19th & Division and Whole Foods in Hollywood. I'm pleased to announced a new collaboration with Quick Stop Photo, a local high-quality photography film and digital lab located at 2422 SE Hawthorne at 24th. They will be donating their high-quality print services for the posters and flyers on the community board. Parker was happily adopted.

Burger was Adopted!

Staff and volunteers just love this dog, Burger - and with good reason. He has such a great personality, he really does. He always says hello with his friendly eyes and his wagging tail. As much as I enjoyed popping in and saying hi to him today, I would much rather see him get adopted to a caring forever-home. He's been at the shelter for quite some time now and he's coping - but it's not easy for him. It's truly mind-boggling that such a wonderful dog has been at the shelter for so long.
