Hi there! My name is Leonardo and I'm looking for a new home. I'm a sensitive guy that can get easily frightened by new things & people. It appears that I haven't had a whole lot of work on the leash & with general handling, so my new adopters will need to help show me that the world isn't so scary. I will need lots of positive interactions in my newly adopted life. Once I feel comfortable though, I am quite the clown. If you have kids in the home, they will need to be over the age of 10 years old. I came to the shelter with a pretty severe skin condition that my human friends here will tell you all about. I was also born with deformed front legs & although they are not causing me any pain now, I may develop arthritis as I age. Please speak with your adoption counselor about my medical needs. If you think we could make a great match, please come & meet me today! I'm about 2 years old & weigh 50 pounds. I must be the only animal in the home as i do not get along with cats or other dogs.
One of the best dogs I've EVER worked with...he is such a sweetie. Whoever gives him a forever home will be the luckiest dog parent in PDX.
