"PEPINO" Available for Adoption at "CLACKAMAS CO DOG Services"

Shelter ID: 106436 Breed:  Shepherd mix

neutered male 2 yr 69 lbs adoption fee $210

description: Hello. My name is Pepino. I'm approximately 69 pounds and I'm a 2-year-old shepherd mix. I am looking for my forever family. One that will spend time with me and teach me new things. I would be a great hiking and walking companion. Are you up for the task of giving me a loving home and some training? Because I am sure I would be a great fit! I have a lot of energy, so I would ideally go to a home that has a fenced yard so I can run around or someone who would be willing to help me burn some of my energy. I would need basic training so I can grow to be the dog you want. Some experience with my breed would be helpful, so please do some research on my breed. I would do best with kids who are 13 years old and older because of my energy. I get along with the dogs at the shelter but if you have dogs, please bring them so we can see if we will get along. Cats are unknown.
Please make an appointment to meet me!
1) Pepino is a 2-year-old shepherd mix who will need a home which can give him daily physical exercise and mind stimulation.

2) We don't know how he will be with cats or small animals, so be sure to discuss proper introductions with your adoption counselor if you have small animals living in the house.

3) Pepino has been friendly towards the other dogs in the shelter. So, if you have another dog in your house we will need to set up a meet and greet.

4) Pepino is active so a securely fenced yard would work best for him or plenty of walks to get proper exercise.
