Meet Flicker, a charming 2-year-old female American Shelter Dog with a
heart full of love and a spirit that shines through her fears. Flicker
is a darling girl who is so close to her people once she trusts them
that she needs a touch of work regarding separation anxiety and
fearfulness. These challenges make her unique but also highlight the
depth of her emotions and her need for a patient and understanding home.
Despite her anxiety, Flicker is incredibly affectionate and loyal. Once
she trusts you, she becomes a devoted companion, always eager to be by
your side. She has a gentle nature and a playful spirit that emerges
when she feels safe and secure. Flicker is still learning to navigate
the world with confidence, and she would greatly benefit from crate
training when left alone because she tends to chew items for comfort. A
crate can provide her with a safe and comforting space where she can
retreat and relax when she feels overwhelmed or has to be apart from
you, and enrichment toys like treat filled Kongs and puzzles can help
her mind and body wind down in a beneficial way. If you're a loving,
