Meet Sally! 🐾🌸
Sally is a sweet, tender-hearted young girl who believes that the very best things in life take a little patience-and plenty of tasty treats!
While she can be hesitant when facing unfamiliar situations, Sally is remarkably smart and makes leaps of progress once she has a moment to figure things out. With just a little encouragement, she has gone from fearing stairs and elevators to walking bravely side-by-side and sitting patiently for her next cue.
On walks, she remains calm and watchful, quietly observing passing dogs and neighbors with gentle, curious eyes.
Once she knows she is in safe hands, her bashful shell melts away into pure sweetness. Sally isn't a big face-kisser just yet, but she shows her affection in the most endearing way: crawling up to place a paw on each of your shoulders to give the softest standing hugs when you talk to her at her level! She also has a joyful, playful spark-bounce a tennis ball in front of her, and she instantly drops into play mode, ready to catch it straight out of the air.
Sally is looking for a patient, loving home ready to help her continue building confidence. She takes treats with extraordinary gentleness and would do well with older, respectful kids who understand giving a shy dog space while she settles in to become their devoted little shadow. She is making steady progress with house-training, appreciates a soothing routine (and perhaps some skin-nourishing treats like salmon toppers!), and is currently working on building comfort when left alone.
