"BRIE" Available for Adoption at "CLACKAMAS CO DOG Services"

 Shelter ID: 106572

Breed: german Shepherd

spayed female 7- 8 mths 60 lbs adoption fee $210

Description: Brie is a fabulous young shepherd mix at about 7 months of of age who weighs about 60lbs and is looking for her perfect forever home! Don't let her initial shy nature make YOU shy away from her - she LOVES to make new friends, but just might need a few extra treats to warm up to you. She really loves to go for nice easy sniffy walks to explore the world around her, too! Like any young dog, she would thrive with basic training. Training is both really tiring mentally and a whole lot of fun, too! Make sure to meet Brie!

1) Brie is an easy going young lady who would thrive in a home that has shepherd experience, too. She may do great as a first time dog, too, if her new family is dedicated to her mental and physical needs as a young, active breed.

2) Brie has done well with dogs here at the shelter! She would prefer a companion who is a bit calmer and willing to let her come out of her shell and slowly meet. If you have another dog at home, please be sure to discuss their personality with your adoption counselor and schedule a time to have them meet Brie!

3) We don't know how Brie will be with cats or other small animals, so be sure to discuss proper introductions between your adoption counselor and any resident small animals to ensure they can be great house mates!

4) Due to her initial shy personality, Brie may do best in a home with no children under the age of 9 years of age.
