"ATHENA" Available for Adoption at "CLACKAMAS CO DOG Services"
Shelter ID: 106605
Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier/Mix
spayed male 1 yr 6 mth 67 lbs adoption fee $210
Description: Hello, my name is Athena and just look at this beautful face!!! I weigh about 67 pounds and am approximately 1-year-6-months old. I'm a very happy and energetic girl that would love to spend time learning new things and brushing up on old things. I have loads of energy to go walking, running and hiking. I will need a lot of exercise and mental enrichment, and continued training with positive reinforcement would be a great way for us to bond better. I would like to have a home that has a fenced in yard so I could run around and be a dog!
1. Athena is an incredibly sociable gal and loves people!!
2. Athena has done very well meeting new dogs! To be sure that it is a good match, she would love to meet any of your other canine family members prior to adoption.
3. We' re unsure how Athena is with cats or other small animals, so we recommend careful introductions and appropriate supervision if she will encounter them. Her family should be prepared to manage introductions thoughtfully and give her time to learn what is expected.
4. Athena would absolutely benefit from continued basic training with continued positive reinforcement. She is a smart, active girl and her new family should provide plenty of appropriate exercise, enrichment, and structured activities while also teaching her how to relax. If you' re looking for a big-hearted, fun-loving companion and are ready to help Athena continue learning and growing, she may be your girl!
