PERMANENT Old Dog Haven FOSTER HOME NEEDED:

(located in W. Washington state or Portland, OR only)

 "Tango" is a 68 pound, neutered male. This handsome breed mix is a mystery (shelter staff think perhaps hound is involved?). They say he is

a sweet, chill guy but can be excitable and strong on leash (of course

he IS confined in a scary shelter!). His labwork is OK so organs are working well, but he's lame on the right elbow (presumed arthritis). More concerning, though, is a soft-tissue sarcoma on one thigh. Those tumors usually spread out into surrounding tissue until they impede movement and comfort; there is really no treatment. So this guy is quite healthy right now but won't have many comfortable years ahead.

 

We would love to find him an Old Dog Haven home to enjoy those years. Giving Tango the home he needs at this point in his life will make you feel really good! You won't have the worry of vet bills because Old Dog Haven will take care of that for the rest of Tango's days (thanks to donations!).
