How did we get this animal: Stray
Adoption cost: $160.00 each License fee: $27.00 (Multnomah County residents onlyMeet Skeena and Bing, two beautiful young Shiba Inu mixes who are
looking for a fresh start and a safe place to land. These two lovely
pups were found wandering loose together, having spent some time looking
out for one another on the streets. Because of their background, they
are currently a little nervous and understandably confused by the sights
and sounds of the shelter. They are looking for understanding, patient
adopters who can see past their initial shyness and help them realize
that the world is a safe and loving place.
While they were found as a duo, they do not have to be adopted together
and will do wonderfully in separate homes with the right guidance.
Because they missed out on some structure during their time on the run,
they are looking for families who don't mind putting in a little time
for basic training and confidence building. Shiba Inu mixes are
incredibly intelligent and loyal, and with some positive reinforcement,
these resilient young dogs will flourish. If you have a calm home and a
heart full of patience, Skeena or Bing will make an incredibly rewarding
and devoted companion.
