Nelson is an 18-month-old Cattle Dog mix who arrived at the shelter as a
stray. While we do not know his history prior to joining us, he has
proven to be incredibly friendly with our staff and shows signs of being
a very intelligent dog. The busy shelter environment can be a bit
overwhelming for him, so he is looking for a home where he can
decompress and find his footing. As a Cattle Dog mix, Nelson will thrive
with an active family that can provide him with the physical exercise
and mental stimulation he naturally craves. He is a smart, capable boy
who is ready to leave his stray days behind. If you are looking for an
