"HARBO" Cool BOXER says "HI!" "OHS- PORTLAND"

I like this guy!  He needs someone savvy to get him used to meeting other dogs (he is a bit overbearing apparently) but that doesn't mean he can't get better!  Harbo is smart, and so willing to show you all his tricks. Hope he gets a great home!

"HARBO" AVAILABLE FOR Adoption at Oregon Humane Society  in Portland

HARBO  Available 4/28/2025 "Looks like" Boxer

 #326608  $400, neutered male, 2 yrs 70 lbs

=========================================

What my friends at OHS say about me:

  • I am used to living an active lifestyle! I would love to get up and go adventure with you.
  • I know some basic cues, such as sit, shake, and lay down.
  • I can't wait to show my new family how playful I am!
  • I am not for the first time dog owner. Someone very familiar with canine body language is a must for me.
  • I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
  • Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
  • Resource Guarding: I have a history of guarding my people, food, toys and/or bedding from other animals or people.
  • I love to learn! You can use my favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement and to teach me new things.
  • Click here to sign-up for our Start over Rover class! We will help you set you on the right path to have the best life possible with your new furry friend through training, games, and exercises!

The type of home I'm looking for:

  • Sometimes I forget my manners when I introduce myself to other animals or people! I may do best in home without any skittish animals or children.
  • High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.
  • I can be worried and anxious in new surroundings. I may take time to adjust to a new environment.

"BABY"* in foster* pretty MASTIFF/retriever mix "Humane Society of SW Washington- Vancouver"

"BABY" is Available for Adoption at the HUMANE SOCIETY OF SW WASHINGTON

dogs available HS SW Washington (both Vancouver and Longview)

in foster home

BABY  #166096 spayed female, 3 yr 1 mth, 79 lbs

"looks like"mastiff/  Labrador retriever  $200

This pet is in foster, you won't find them at the shelter

Adopt me on the 4th of this month and my fee is waived! It's the Craig Stein Yappy Hour and we're honoring our friend Craig by waiving adoption fees for all pets. And every pet adopted during the promotion will also receive a branded bandana and a starter kit with food, treats, and toys!

Here's what you need to know about me:

I'm easy going. Wanna go for a walk? Okay. Hang out in the yard? No problem. Just relax on the couch? I can do that. I'm pretty happy to go at your pace and I don't really need much more than most dogs do. If you're looking for a steady companion, I'm all yours.

It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.

I need a space of my own. I sometimes have a hard time sharing my treats, toys, or bed with other pets. Ask an adoption counselor for more information.

I'm currently in foster and ready for my new home! If you're interested in meeting me, please email adoptions@southwesthumane.org.

"TWO TOE TONY" easy walker, gentle soul, CATALOULA mix, "YAKIMA Humane SOCIETY"

Yakima Humane Society   info

Dogs on their website   https://yakimahumane.org/adopt/dogs/

Yakima, WA is a long drive from Portland, but the Yakima Humane Society seems like a decent animal shelter that could use a boost for attention.   They spay/neuter all their adoption pets and try to do adequate adoption screening (which is more than can be currently said of Mult County animal shelter!)

TWO TOE TONY intake 3/3/25  Adoption fee $175

Animal ID 57951633  male, 3yrs, 1 mth 25days  60 lbs

"Listed as" Catahoula Leopard Dog mix",  Yakima Humane Society FB

"Two Toe Tony is a sweet, easy-going three years old Catahoula mix just waiting for someone to take him home.
He enjoys leisurely walks in the park with many stops to roll in the grass. Tony has a gentle soul who is looking for someone that compliments his sweet demeanor. He is very good motivated and doesn’t have the most gentle mouth when he gets excited and snatches the food so we don’t recommend a home with young kids that carry around snacks. Besides that Tony has actually done well with kids and once trained could be perfect with them. We love this boy and know you will too! Check him out on our website to learn more and apply to adopt him today. You can also come down during business hours and meet him in person."

JASMINE is available for ADOPTION at YAKIMA HUMANE SOCIETY -

"Jasmine has been waiting for her home for over 260 days. That’s 260 days in a kennel, hoping her person is going to come along.
That’s right, Jasmine has been with us is July of 2024! Jasmine is a stunning Husky/Shepherd mix who loves to play with other dogs. Her current best friend is Nickolas but she has played with dogs big and small. She is a great walker and would make an excellent jogging companion if that is something you are into. She keeps a clean kennel with us and is good at picking up a routine. We know Jasmine’s home is out there somewhere, help us find it! Check her out on our website for more info and apply online or in person. For more info please call our adoption center.

SAINT intake 1/4/25  Pet id 57578408 Adoption fee $175

"Listed as" Dobie/Shepherd, male, 10 mths 25 days (came into the shelter at 8 months, poor guy)

Meet Saint, an eight month old male Doberman/German Shepherd mix weighing 63 pounds.

Saint is a sweet boy who was a bit nervous when he first came in to us. He is kind of a goober and is a little unsure of new situations so he looks to his people for support. Once he gets all of the love and attention/reassurance he is a different dog. He is a friendly boy who just needs some socializing and training so he can approach new situations with confidence. Saint has met a small dog and done well, however, we do recommend doing a meet and greet if there is another dog in the home as Saint can be a bit of a dork and not all personalities will get along. He recently met a medium sized dog and just wanted to play like the dork he is, we adore this silly guy! He walks pretty well on leash, especially for his age!

This pet is available for adoption on 1/7/2025 at 3:56 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.
