"BIRDIE" *pre-select* cute little TERRIER mix "MCAS"

UPDATE 1/2/26 PRE-selected or on hold

MCAS needs to spay/neuter all dogs before adoption, especially the females and purebred dogs! Management is failing the dogs and the community. They have had years to resolve this issue and are creating a larger problem for homeless pets. .....WHAT are they thinking?? Why are they allowed to continue failing like this??...You can't help but worry, and wonder - will these adopted dogs be used by people for breeding?or have"unintended offspring" to contribute to more poor homeless dogs?...

but...it's not the dogs' fault, and the dogs need good adopters!

12/31/25 "I'm available for a pre-select adoption but I can't go home yet. Please come to the shelter to apply! Learn more about Pre-select animals." NOTE- it is important to check at the local animal shelters if you lose your pet as the stray hold time is only 3-6 days depending on if they have any id . Often the dog is listed as pre-select the same day it comes in as a stray

Meet Birdie, a soulful 4-year-old terrier mix who believes that the best friendships are built one quiet moment at a time. While she might start off as a wallflower-preferring to observe the world from a safe distance while she finds her footing-watching her blossom is a truly rewarding experience. Once you've earned her trust, Birdie sheds her shy exterior to reveal a loyal, tender-hearted companion who will gladly settle in by your side for a lifetime of cozy snuggles and gentle adventures. If you have a patient heart and a calm home, this sweet girl is ready to fly right into your arms! 🕊️🐾✨
