"Friends, Will you please share our plea for Penny Lane?

We'd love to get her out of the shelter and into her forever foster home!

PERMANENT Old Dog Haven FOSTER HOME NEEDED:

"Penny Lane" is a 14 year old spayed female goldendoodle, who weighs 34 pounds.

 This girl came into the shelter with a mild heart murmur, but is on a medication for hypertension/proteinuria; we aren't sure quite why. We would want to do an echocardiogram and look into the issue since the family who surrendered her said she had heart disease.

 

She is sore down her spine with somewhat delayed responses in her hind legs; we'd expect that the spinal problems will increase with time. Her bloodwork was good, however, so right now her kidneys and liver, etc are working OK.

 

She's a happy girl, "jubilant" to have company and go for a walk out of her kennel, good with the shelter tester dog and not reactive to the other dogs she passes. We don't know how she will do in a home with others, of course, or how she will do on walks around others. We don't know more about her behavior, reaction to cats, etc. as is often the case. We'd love to get her into an Old Dog Haven home!
