She's proved to be a quiet houseguest, never barking or growling, and while she's naturally affectionate and enjoys coming up for a quick hug and kiss, she's also independent enough to explore the backyard on her own. Maris is eager to please and responds immediately to cues, even stopping her playful "mouthiness" the moment she's asked, making her a delightful and adaptable companion for a loving adopter.
