"JEDI" young *TRI-POD* German Shepherd mix *likes dogs* "OHS- Portland

  UPDATE 9/7/25 ADOPTED!

Jedi's front left leg was recently amputated (you can see his twisted leg in the top old photo)  Jedi is currently in the shelter kennels, still adjusting/struggling with the physical changes to his body post amputation and would love an compassionate adopter or foster home to help him in this transition. He is getting good medical care and lots of love in the shelter,  but would still love to be in a home.  He's a great pup!

  • What my friends at OHS say about me:

    • Mental enrichment activities are a great way to entertain me and work my brain.
    • I'm a fiend for food! Snacks are a great way to make friends with me and teach me fun tricks.
    • I can't wait to show my new family how playful I am!
    • I am still learning how to walk on leash, especially in new environments that can be overwhelming. I need verbal encouragement, patience and of course treats from you to help me!
    • I had so much fun meeting another dog here in the shelter. My friends at OHS think I would be great at making new dog friends!
    • Even though I have 3 legs instead of 4, I'll have a leg-up on the competition!
    • High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.
    • I have a medical condition that requires long term management.
