If
Sake, our 2 year old 13 pound mix (Papillon-Dachshund, maybe?), had a
job, it would be "It Girl". Like a lot of influencers, Sake spends her
time sun bathing, charming people with her wit, and admiring herself in
the mirror. We have even considered asking her to take over our social
media accounts; we're sure she'd rack up a million followers. First,
though, we need to find Sake the most important fan: an adopter!
The
shelter asked us to help with Sake after she was found stray and
injured. We took her in to help her heal from a broken tibia and ankle.
Can we just tell you, Sake rocked that splint. We wouldn't be surprised
to see all the fashionable dogs wearing splints this summer. Now healed,
Sake can run around like nothing happened.
Sake is the life of
the party. She's friendly, tremendously cuddly, and is good with dogs,
cats and kids. Sake loves to dance, self entertains by throwing leaves
in the air, and has learned to ring a bell when it's time to potty. Sake
is good in a crate and on leash. She is nearly 100% housebroken and is
smart and easy to train. Sake is full of energy and would thrive with a
family who is active.
One of Sake's favorite games is "Shoes".
The rules are: collect all the shoes. The pairs can't be in the same
place together and no individual shoe can stay in one location for more
than 10 minutes. If seen moving a shoe, you must freeze until the person
looks away. The shoes are not harmed in the game. Look for "Shoes" to
become the latest TikTok trend- soon all we'll see are videos of people
running back and forth with a sneaker.
Sake is heartworm negative and current on her flea and heartworm preventatives.
