"FOXY LADY" URGENT!! 30 lb Cattle Dog/ terrier? *PERMANENT FOSTER NEEDED* "OLD DOG Haven"

"FOXY LADY"  Cattle Dog? terrier?  PERMANENT Foster HOme Needed  "OLD DOG HAVEN"

6/12/25  ODR FB We have been asked to share this girl again. We cannot start her treatment until she is “ours”, meaning we shelter pull her and send her to an approved forever foster home.
A local shelter has asked us to help this girl. We'd love to bring her into our care and begin the treatment she needs. Old Dog Haven is looking for a forever foster for FoxyLady, all of her vet care will be paid for by Old Dog Haven (thanks to donations). If you cannot foster for us, you can still help her by sharing our plea!

(note the rescue pays for the medical bills)

PERMANENT Old Dog Haven HOME NEEDED:
(in W. Washington state or Portland, OR only)

"FoxyLady" is a spayed female, maybe cattle dog or terrier mix, 30#, probably 13+ years old. She finds herself in a shelter with
very severe, undoubtedly longterm, skin and ear problems that have
caused permanent damage. She also has a nonregenerative anemia that
is concerning - perhaps tied to all the skin issues but perhaps
something more ominous. We won't know without a good deal more
workup. She is friendly, gets around well, met the shelter's
"tester" dog and was fine but really wasn't interested.

It's possible she will be a hospice situation, possible that if we can get her skin and ears under control she'll be fine for some time. She BADLY needs to get out and started on vet care. If you're up to it, please contact us right away.
