"STICK SHIFT" cutest face - blond pitbull

 UPDATE 5/24/24 ADOPTED  (Natalia)

"STICK SHIFT" (please rename her...)was very afraid when she first came into the shelter and displayed that by barking/lunging in her intake kennel.  Spending time with her now you would never have guessed that! She is a soft snuggly girl with a beautiful face and compact although stout body/ It is possible that new places/situations will make her uncomfortable and it will be important to pay attention to her signals so that you can do what she needs to allow her to feel secure.  She is a very loving dog.

"STICK SHIFT" is Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

My name is Stick Shift because I am learning to keep all four on the floor instead of jumping on people for joy! Manners class with my new people would be a blast. With consistency and reward based training I will try to learn new stuff fast. I want to learn to stay by your side so we can go on walks far and wide. I am a lively lady who is all about expressing my emotions through body language, and I love to get the zoomies when excitement strikes. I'd thrive as the only dog in a household, so no other canine friends for me - I need to soak up all the attention for myself! I would also do best with a spot that has low dog traffic in general to keep me nice and happy without too many stressors around. The people at the shelter don't know how I'd do with a cat, so nice calm, slow introductions would be best if needed. With me, every day is an adventure waiting to happen!
