Aurora is looking for a German Shepherd loving home who will be willing to work with any leash reactivity - which is common with the German Shepherd breed. She is playful, attentive and wants to  bond with someone.

She is tries really to please, showing off her sit and down. She is very nervous in the shelter and would love a good home that will allow her the time to adjust

Hi, I'm Aurora! A proud Shepherd with intelligence and loyalty running through my veins! I am a sweet and affectionate girl who loves fun! While I may be a bit selective when it comes to canine companions, I am a friendly girl with people. I have shown some possible leash reactivity in the past, but with the right training and positive reinforcement I know I can continue to improve! Due to these behaviors, introductions to other dogs will need to be slow and supervised. I'm searching for a loving family who understands my unique needs and is committed to helping me become the best version of myself. A quiet and calm environment where I can feel safe and secure would be paw-some, along with plenty of opportunities for one-on-one time with my humans. I dream of long walks, cozy snuggle sessions, and endless love and affection! Due to her strong prey drive and natural instincts, she may view cats as fun play objects, leading to conflicts or stress in a shared living environment. However, with proper training, supervision, and gradual introductions, some Shepherd dogs can learn to coexist peacefully with cats.
