"JOURNEY" the most BEAUTIFUL BIG girl - Central Asian Shepherd Dog

UPDATE 10/22/23 Adopted

Journey is a Central Asian Shepherd Dog,

Journey has a very calm demeanor, and in fact is one of the easiest shelter dogs to walk on a leash, but will rightfully bark at people who stare at her outside of her kennel(she is a livestock guardian breed afterall)

She loves her friends, has the most intelligent gaze right into your eyes, possesses the softest fur in the world.

Someone (responsible) will be very lucky to be Journey's adopter

and we all wish for the best for her. She is pretty amazing

Recommend No Cats in Home

Hello there, my name is Journey and I am a beautiful 4 year old livestock guardian type dog. I am a gentle giant with such a sweet heart and lots of love to give to my new family! I walk very well on leash and I already know sit, shake, and down. Although I am already a big girl, I am fully grown so no need to worry about me getting any bigger! Dogs like me are on the calmer side of things, and so an equally calm household might be a good fit for me. A previous adopter of mine stated I like to chase any animals smaller than me, so I would need to be the only pet in my new family's home. I would also prefer a low traffic neighborhood. My pals here at the shelter highly recommend my new home as a nice big yard that is completely fenced in, secured and has a fence that is preferably 6-8 foot tall or more, as I can easily go over fences and I am sure you would prefer me to stay at home! Before coming to meet me, I would like you to do some research about livestock guardian breeds, we are very interesting and require both physical and mental stimulation. If you think we would be a good fit together, stop on by the shelter and ask to meet me!
