Anyone looking to add a young German Shepherd into their lives? This lovely foster dog is pretty darn stellar. Young female, great with dogs, social and confident with people, good in car, walks well on leash and knows her basic obedience. Do your breed research. This breed is renowned for their intelligence, loyalty and smarts but needs ample training, socializing and exercise.

 

Lumen is definitely NOT suitable for an apartment/townhouse, as she can be very vocal at times, which would not go well with very close neighbors.  She'd also like a large fenced yard as it gives her the opportunity to play and burn off some energy and hang out with you. She'll do best in her new home with  another compatible med to large dog(s) that she can play with, as she loves other dogs, and someone who isn't gone a long workday - she needs this to curb any potential separation anxiety.

 

I am Lumen an active and playful 2 year old female German Shepherd You could call me the hands-on type but since I do not have hands I learn with my mouth. To an exuberant dog like me everything is a game. I am up for anything and ready to amaze my new family with my skills. I am looking for a family who does not take life too seriously that will be patient, positive and lift me to my potential of being a perfect pup!
