UPDATE 6/15/23 Adopted
Athena came from a back-yard breeder home with multiple dogs. She deserves better! She's a sweetheart (who needs a calm place outside of the shelter) who will blossom in a home where she is allowed to go at her own pace and helps her become more confident.

Dogs like me are really sweet with people when we feel at home, especially when we know them well. In new places, we tend to need a little time to figure out the coast is clear. Once I feel at home, I will be your bosom buddy. My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am! I came from a home with other dogs, so if you have a social dog at home we may get along, after proper introductions of course!
