Hi my names Teddy! I may seem big, but I'm still just a young and curious kid. I love playing fetch, spending time with other dogs, and cuddling with humans. I am potty trained and I know some basic commands like sit, down, and come. But I would love to learn some new tricks! Especially if treats are involved. My foster mom (he's now in the shelter) says that I am very tolerant of dogs and that if an older dog doesn't want to play, I will leave them alone. I have seen cats (on leash) and let them be! Everything is still very new for me but once I figure something out I'm basically a natural! I'm still working through some separation anxiety though and would benefit from being in a home where I am not left alone often until we have built some trust together. The shelter staff think I have pretty goofy antics which they say is adorable but I will need continued positive reinforcement training to help me be my best self.

 the difference a foster home makes!

early pics of Teddy Bear in his foster home, thank you Monica and Leo!

============================
Teddy was young, under-socialized, scared with hair loss when he first came into the shelter. A 2 month stay in foster made a huge  difference for him. Now he is back in the shelter and looking for a good home that will continue to work to help him develop into a secure adult dog.
