Toasty is a sweet, good natured and somewhat independent dog who wants to roam. She loves exploring the woods and would make a great hiking companion. She is okay with affection, but is not really an affectionate dog (at least in the shelter), so would be a good fit with someone who doesn't need or want a dog who is clingy or likes a lot of close contact. She should also be in a home with a fenced yard, given her propensity to explore.
