UPDATE 1/18/23 ADOPTED
MCAS needs to change it's "first come, first serve policy"
They also need to stop giving them away for free.
And please..no more free intact dog (females especially) sent to anyone who wants to have them!!!
Otherwise, it will continue being "a revolving door" for some of
these shelter dogs looking for a "forever home".
UPDATE Jan 10, 2023 Groot now in foster home. Groots is enjoying hanging out and playing with his foster brother.
Groot needs a compatible buddy in his new home that he can play with and express some of
his energy! He's been in too many short term homes and needs a
permanent one.
Be fun to do a DNA test on Groot. He actually looks like my neighbor's young Bernese Mt Dog/Poodle mix!

This animal is in foster care! Complete a form to meet them. I am Groot! I am a sweet boy looking for my forever home. I am pretty active, so I would benefit from a home with someone looking to take nice leisurely walks with me - or runs, or hikes, or beach trips, or park trips. I love fetch and I'm especially affectionate after I get some exercise. I took a bit of time to adjust to the shelter but with a bigger kennel and some extra volunteer attention, I have become a very good boy who loves little pieces of string cheese.
