My shelter name is Maddy. I am around 5 years old and weigh about 46lbs. Like most herding breed dogs, the shelter is especially overwhelming for a sensitive girl like me, but I have the right stuff to be a great companion. Once I get some time to settle into my new home I will be happiest being where my people are. I would love nothing more than to sit by you or trot along with you on walks. If you are seeking a true blue friend, then I am the dog for you! Through thick and thin, I will be by your side. I already know sit, down and walk pretty nicely on a leash. If there are any kids in my new home they should be at least 12 years old because I can be mildly fearful and younger kids would be too much for me. With some time and space to adjust I will blossom and show you my true personality.
