My shelter name is Watermelon, well because I'm shaped like the wonderful summer fruit and just as sweet! I am really happiest being where my people are. I would love nothing more than the curl up by you or trot along with you on walks. If you are seeking a relaxed and easy-going friend to keep you company through your life, then I am the dog for you! Through thick and thin, I will be by your side. Because I am overweight, the shelter recommends my new owners consult with their veterinarian about a weight loss diet. I'll live longer be healthier and you can have fun picking out a new slimmer name for me. I am currently 54lbs, and am about 8 years old.
