Ripley here! I'm a gorgeous and loving German Shepherd lady searching for a new home. I'm very shy at first and it took me time to approach staff here, but once we're friends I'm such a goofy and excited girl! It doesn't seem like I had a lot of socialization when I was very young so I am fearful on new situations and people. I would love a patient home that is willing to build up my confidence and show me that the world is not a scary place! I'm been around other dogs here at the shelter and I'm very dog-friendly so we once I've built up the courage we can go hiking and exploring together and meet all sorts of new friends! Because of my fearfulness I might be too scared of very small children - have your whole family come meet me. Come say hi - I love a nice treat to break the ice between us. I'm about 3 years old and weigh 49 lbs.
