Hi there! My name is Sophie and I am looking for a special home that understands my sensitive nature and will take things slowly. It can take me a bit to become comfortable with new people and new environments, so it will be important to let me go at my own speed when getting to know me. Once I am comfortable, I can become a big mushball that enjoys cuddling and playing lots of fetch. Tennis balls are my passion! I have an unfortunate history and am looking for a loving family that can help me build my confidence, but it needs to be an Adult Only home. The shelter is HIGHLY recommending that we take reward based together to help build our bond. I have lived with dogs before and really enjoy them. Living with a confident, social dog will probably be beneficial for me. Cats are a little too interesting for me and will need a feline free home. Please take a chance on me and give me the love and life I deserve. I am about 5 years old and weigh 36 pounds.
