Pepper really needs a home that understands him - to let him go at his own pace, give him time to adjust to a new home, and be able to take it easy, without meeting unfair expectations. He's a cool dog, he just needs to find his niche.

My name is Pepper and I'm looking for a new place to call home. Since I came to the shelter as a stray, there is not much known about me. I am seemingly happy go lucky but unsure of some handling. I like things on my own terms and am looking for a quiet home that will allow me the space and time to adjust. I enjoy going for walks, exploring, and napping near my humans. Please come down and meet me today. I am about 3 years old and weigh 18 pounds. The shelter is requiring a home without children because I don't like a lot of commotion or fast movement and I have nipped in my previous home
