Hello. My name is Miso, probably because “Me so happy”. That’s a joke, but I do want to say, I am a happy, little guy weighing about 17 lbs. I had a rough start at the shelter and they had to shave me because I was so matted and had 2 infections going on. Now though, I am living the high life in foster and getting cleaned up. I may have some allergies. Please don’t let that deter you; with a healthy diet of good hypoallergenic food, I’ll be just fine. I like hanging out with my foster Moms, my big dog sister and even the cat. I love to play with “ropeys” – they are a fantastic chew toy. I am potty trained and love going in to my crate during the day while my Mom’s are at work – just give me a nice, soft bed to lay in and I’m a happy camper. All, in all, I’d say I am a pretty low-key little guy who just enjoys hanging out. I do get nervous when you reach for my head, so little ones wouldn’t be the best roommates for me. And, I have a funny aversion to stairs. I can go up them easily but do not like going down them, so a house without stairs would be ideal. If you show me a little patience, love, consistent grooming and good food I’ll be your best friend with a happy smile to greet you every day. Please contact Alix, the Foster coordinator for more information about my wonderful personality.
Let me know if you get any nibbles and send them my way… I prefer emails because I can write quicker, but if they want to text me or chat via the phone, you can have them reach out directly to me. To meet me, email the coordinator at alix.womack@multco.us.

and now - here's me in my foster home, much happier :)

here's me in the shelter - a bit scared and nervous in the shelter, but looking and feeling much better than when I first came into the MCAS shelter.
