Gigi is a smart, energetic 8-month-old American Shelter Dog who will be a rewarding addition to a patient, dog savvy family :) Perhaps you are looking for a hiker, runner, agility or scent training partner? Gigi is your gal! Gigi, or "Ginger Girl," is gorgeous, hilarious and loves to play with durable toys and other young, robust dogs. She also loves to run, cuddle and make you laugh with her goofy antics. Gigi had a rough start in life, but that hasn't stopped her from working diligently in her foster home to improve her submissive urination, food guarding, stranger danger and bite inhibition. She is a strong, goofy baby who would benefit greatly from obedience classes. Proof of payment for obedience classes drops Gigi's adoption fee by 50%! Gigi would do best in a home without cats, small animals, or children under 14. She will thrive in an active household with another young, playful dog. Your adoption counselor can talk to you about setting her up for success so she doesn't chew on things she's not supposed to, including you! She loves large rope toys, black Kongs and antlers. She shouldn't be given most other toys because she will eat them :) With the right family, this pup will blossom into an amazing adult. She already knows sit, stay, no, yes, lie down, get on your bed, and will come when you whistle or call her name, once she knows you. Gigi is microchipped, spayed, crate trained and ready for her forever home! Ask about Gigi today :D
