Hi there! My name is Strawberry Shortcake, but you can call me Shorty! I am in search of a new, loving family. As you can see I haven't had the best of care, but I promise that my hair will grow back with quality, monthly flea control and a good diet. I am a sensitive lady that's looking for an active yet relaxing home. I can nervous with over handling, so my new home should have children over the age of 10 years. Being here has been a little stressful and I'm having a hard time showing everybody my true colors, but I do enjoy going for walks and getting treats! Though I am small, I am mighty as well and the shelter is HIGHLY recommending that we attend reward based classes together to help get us started off on the right paw. I am asking that you have no small animals, cats, or dogs smaller than I as I have shown too much interest in them. I may do fine with a respectful male dog that is my size or larger, but we'll have to meet first. If all of this sounds like a wonderful match, then please come and meet me today! I am about 2 years old and weigh 36 pounds.
