"WESLEY" - lots of terrier cuteness and terrier drive

possible Adoption Pending (6/4)

Here's my MCAS weblink

Hi there folks! I know what you are thinking, "how can such an adorable little fellow be looking for a home for the 4th time?", well, the answer is easy...I'm a terrier... If you don't know about terriers, here's the deal, we are cantankerous little creatures, we're active and loud, and on occasion, we get a little naughty. Now, we aren't horrible, many terriers (myself included) are highly trainable with the right POSITIVE methods, we're cuddly, and very smart. I'm absolutely adorable, and I do have a very sensitive, sometimes fearful side. It seems as though my fearful side has been mistaken for bad behavior, dogs like me are often misunderstood by our humans. Yes, we aren't for everybody, people who love us terriers love us with all their hearts, people that don't love us, generally end up living next door to those who do.

thanks Nancy (foster mom) for great pics and everything you're doing for Wesley!

I'm currently in a foster home looking for my last, forever home. My foster mom reports that I love other dogs, but I have an incredibly rude playstyle that needs to either be matched with a comparably ridiculous (or very forgiving) dog, or maybe I should be an only pet with humans committed to playing with me and exercising me daily. I should not go to dog parks or be allowed off leash as I can get myself in quite a bit of mischief. I should never live with a cat, ever (pet squirrels, rats, or raccoons are also out of the question). I need a home with a very secure fence, and never be left outside when you aren't there to help me mind my manners, and mouth. If I live with kids, they should be respectful, older children, like somewhere in their 30's.
Positive, reward based classes will be required as stipulation of my adoption to help us get off on the right paw and learn to work as a team. I'm already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines. I'm even sporting a fancy-schmancy new haircut! I'm dashing.
OK, so you think you have what it takes to make a small but mighty guy feel happy and safe for the rest of his life? Contact the foster coordinator Donna at503-545-3021 or
donna.b.scott@multco.us to meet me! I am a little over a 1 years old and I weigh 16lbs..
