TRANSFERRED to Family Dogs New Life Shelter!
I am looking for a home that wants a canine buddy! I will need daily exercise and training and someone who will be patient as I learn the rules of your home. I am willing and will be extra interested if there is a treat involved!
The shelter suggests that we take some training together to start off on the right paw together. I have made some dog friends here and I love to play but may be too much for smaller dogs or the dog park. It was noted during my evaluation here that someone may have used objects, like a rolled up newspaper for example, to 'train' me. This has resulted in me being fearful of things held in people's hands.
Please talk to your counselor about reward based methods and how to help me trust again. I am about 4 years of age and I weigh a chubby 73 lbs. Here's my MCAS weblink
