Did you ever wonder how far your donations can go with Stumptown Strays? You might be surprised how much we can do with every dollar!
For example, a $20 donation can buy a necessary vaccine or a microchip that helps to ensure that our pups don’t ever wind up stray again. Or, as you may have noticed, MANY of the dogs we take in have painful and infected teeth from their lives before they came to us and a $300 donation can get them dental care that takes that pain away!
Because of our volunteer veterinarians and veterinary nurses donating their time and skills, @nwneighborhoodvet’s generous donated usage of their facilities, and partnerships with specialty veterinary clinics offering us discounts, we’re able to keep medical costs as low as possible.
But medical care still costs money and it’s every dollar you donate that truly gets us over the finish line with each pup!
Every single stray that comes into our care and ends up in a safe, warm, and loving forever home is because of you - our supporters. Saying that we couldn’t do this without you isn’t just a platitude for us.
