I am River a fun loving and energetic Catahoula Leopard Dog. Dogs like me love to get out and play but don't always remember our manners. I can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the game is on! My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am!

Murphy is currently in foster care. Here is what his foster has to say about him! "Murphy is a total catch! Around here we call him Murphy the Unicorn because it is rare to find a dog that is so well mannered, so well behaved and so loving! He is potty trained, kennel trained, knows sit and down, he's cat and dog friendly and slightly submissive with other dogs who correct him. He loves belly rubs and snuggles and he rarely barks. He is a great running, hiking and adventuring partner but not hyperactive at home, and he is gentle with humans. Murphy would be a great family dog! He is not leash or otherwise reactive. He does pull a little on the leash but it is manageable and he is highly food motivated, making him a great candidate for some loose leash training. He loves balls, bones and other durable toys. When he gets bored or frustrated, instead of destroying things or acting out, he just chews his bone. He has been living in foster with two dogs and previously had a foster cat sibling. He has done extremely well with all of them. He would need to go home with children 12 or over. He is not excessively jumpy and has no handling sensitivities. He even jumps right into the tub for a bath and is fine with paw, tail and ear cleaning, and he snoozes while his foster parents run the vacuum. He's ready to adventure and nap with his forever person or people."

Hey my name is Sarge! I can be a little shy and stand off-ish when I first meet new people but once I'm feeling comfortable I come out of my shell more. I enjoy long walks, exploring, and eating tasty treats. I am 8 years old so I am calmer and a little more easy going and would like to find a home that matched my calmer energy.

Hi, I'm Stella, a 4-year-old American Shelter Dog who is ready to go home with you. I am beyond those silly puppy years. My maturity makes me a great companion and I'm young enough to still enjoy lots of adventures, walks and play. I have a lovely temperament and I walk nicely on a leash. I also enjoy playing in the yard, and I am affectionate with people. I aim to please so positive training methods would work well with me. Although my history is limited, I have shown to be selective with other dogs, so an only dog home would be right up my alley. A slow introduction to a similar sized dog in the home could also be considered. I am looking for someone I can bond with who will give me affection and a regular routine. I am already house trained. I am spayed, chipped and ready to live my best life with my new family. You should come to the shelter and meet me today!
