I’m a spunky young gal with a zest for life, I may be mature, but I still got some get up and go! However, I do not have a zest for spending lots of time alone and prefer to be right by your side. Once I settle in I am well mannered, a perfect housemate. But oh boy, I just love to be with people and am so affectionate. I get along great with other dogs too, big or small, and will enjoy the affection that respectful children have to offer. Just don’t ask me to live with cats! I’m smart as could be and I love working for treats, so learning new things will be fun! I walk well on leash, and I love car rides almost as much as snacks! I’m housebroken already too, and even crate trained. Goodness, there are sooo many things I love! How ’bout it, pal, will you let me love you too?

IN FOSTER HOME
My name is Laurel and I am an eight year old American shelter dog
looking for a loving home. I came to the shelter in need of treatment
for a skin condition, and some tender loving care! I have been in foster
for a few weeks now and I am doing so good!
Her foster parent says she is a very smart girl! She knows basic
commands, and she taught them that she was taught with hand signals!
She is friendly to strangers, she doesn't jump on people and plays with
smaller respectful dogs. She prefers you to be home with her, but she
she does well after being left alone for increasingly longer periods of
time. She has shown no destructive behavior or barking. Her house
manners are perfect!
Notes from her foster parent: She lets us know it is time for a meal by
picking up her bowl and carrying it to wherever we are and placing it in
front of us with the look in the attached picture. Thought you'd enjoy
that for your Friday fun fact.
I think all she really needs in her new home is some TIME & patience
from her people to adjust to her new space.
Thanks for trying to get this good girl adopted! She is the absolute
BEST.
