"CLARA" adorable quirky lovable pocket pittie/chi mix

ADOPTED!
Apr 2020
Will miss you so much sweetie!!

Clara is around one year old, 32 lbs and a ‘pocket’ pittie mix.
Hi my name is Clara and I am just barely a year old. I found myself pretty afraid in a shelter. My foster mom taught me lots of things after I got into her home. I am house trained (not a fan of rain), I ride in a crate in the car but I don’t need one if the house. I watch delivery people and don’t even bark!
My foster mom says I am a sound sleeper and I love to burrow under the blanket on the dog bed. I am very affectionate with my foster mom and love to watch a good movie. I am looking forward to getting my own family or person so I can bond forever. I went to some dog classes with my foster mom too!
I am still afraid of many things. I do not like to jump in the car (I get picked up to go in my crate, I also can sometimes get car sick). Kids and their loudness, and sometimes strangers on walks make me nervous.
Here is what my perfect home would look like. I love quiet homes. I want a person who likes to stay home and when you go somewhere I can wait for you at home. I am quiet at home so if you work from home I will not contribute to your meetings. Do you like to garden? I love to watch! I love a stick or toy or exploring and sniffing. I can be super playful. I am great when your friends come to visit.
I do like walks and I may even be a good running buddy but I am not a dog park girl and I am not a big fan of meeting dogs on my walks, especially big ones. I am a fan of quiet and calmness.
If you are interested in meeting this me, please send a completed application (found on our website Our Adoption Policy – My Way Home Dog Rescue to the rescue and my foster mom will give you details about me and answer any questions.

"PIPPI" aka "PIPPA" HAPPY Adoption UPDATE!

Happy Adoption Update Apr 2020
Pippa (Pippi)
" Pippa was a blessing from the moment we met her at the shelter. She is super lovable, playful and well mannered. Pippa is being trained to be an Emotional Support Dog and will be further trained to be a Service Dog. We love having her in our home and it's obvious she loves it here too."   Caroline G.

Hi Pippi here! A fun and energetic girl that loves booty rubs, my toys, and walks! I also love to give kisses! It would definitely be beneficial to me to get into some training classes to become a more refined pup, because I do pull on leash a little and jump up when I am excited. If you are an active home that is searching for a buddy, search no further! The shelter is recommending I go home with kids 5 and up due to how jumpy I am, but it is not required! I do need to be the only dog in the home.
