ADOPTED!
Apr 8, 2016

Available for Adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!

here's my MCAS weblink ( 4/7 pending adoption)
animal # 574751

This is Meg and she is so sweet! She's perfect with kids, dogs, ok with cats (her foster mom's cat doesn't run away), and would be a perfect family dog!! Also, comes when called, passive, and waits at the door for her feet to be wiped. She's not skittish to kids or loud noises, and would really love a family or a place with room to run. Meg will have her spay surgery 4/7/16 and can go home after that. Ask about Meg today!  (about 2 yrs 9mths approx.  old  54 lbs)

animal # 538872

Hello there, I'm Ross. I am just the sweetest guy around and everyone I meet falls head over heels for me. I am currently in a foster home, recovering from being hit by a car and hernia surgery. I'm almost good as new but will need a home that doesn't have stairs. My foster mom says I am good with other dogs, but can be submissive so a slow, supervised introduction is best. I also behave myself with cats & small children! I am about 9 years old and weigh 48lbs If you are interested in having me as your new best friend, please contact Alix, the Foster Coordinator, at alix.womack@multco.us to find out more about me :)

"German Shorthaired mix Puppies

ADOPTED!
Apr 2016

Honestly? The puppies look like they are purebred German Shorthaired Pointers - but the mom was "a stray" and the father unknown, so they have to be listed as "pointer mixes"

Available for Adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!
In a foster home

I am about 8 weeks old and Iam a Pointer mix puppy. Being a puppy I am very energetic and need lots and lots of exercise. I am currently going through my potty training and doing really well at it. However, you will still need to work with me on going outside so please have patience! I love and need lots of toys and tons of love and attention! I would love a new home with another energetic dog and or children to play with and cats would be ok too. I need an active energetic family and a fenced back yard would be awesome. I am currently in foster care with my mom and siblings. I am being neutered 4/07/16 and can go home after that. If you would like to meet me please email the Foster Coordinator (with my Puppy Name) at the shelter, alix.womack@multco.us :-)

"I have lots of volunteer and staff friends at OHS, but I'm an old man now, and I really want a loving retirement home soon."

Available for adoption with Oregon Humane Society!

here's my OHS weblink
animal # 16708

I have a video! This is Blaze, a sweet older guy who has captured the hearts of everyone here. Don’t pass him up because of his age! Provide him with some exercise, some love, and a comfy bed, and he’ll show you why he’s the perfect companion. In his golden years, he has become a bit more anxious about being left alone, so someone who is retired, works from home, or can take him to work would be ideal. Blaze will need a home without cats or young kids. This sweet fellow deserves a loving retirement home… could that be with you? If you’re thinking of bringing him home, you’ll receive a training consult so you can learn how to keep him happy and healthy

"ABBEY" (too BIG) awesome tabby queen kitty

ADOPTED!
Apr 3, 2016

Abbey is pretty cool :) Hope some cool adopts her.

Available for adoption with Oregon Humane Society!

here's my OHS weblink
animal # 184697

I have a video! We are pleased to introduce Abbey! This sweet lady loves to be pampered with endless ear scratches and fluffy beds and she is looking for a home where she can be queen of her castle. Abbey has never lived with other animals before and may appreciate being an only pet in her new home. We don’t know if Abbey has ever been around children, but she might be happiest in a home with older kids who can respect her space. Don’t let her looks deceive you, Abbey still enjoys being active and has a playful streak. She thoroughly enjoys chasing laser pointers, and would benefit from someone who will play with her and help her get back into shape (she’s got a bit ‘more to love’ right now!)

Abbey be patient! You really will find a great home!

Available at Multnomah County Animal Services!

here's my Mcas weblink
animal id # 576429

Who? Well, I am Marylou! I am a sweet and independent adult girl who is looking for some guidance on what it means to be a house mate. I can be a bit aloof at first, but that is just because I am so very interested in all the new smells around me. Once I get to know you, I can be quite the attention-seeker! I will need some time to learn all the ins and outs about living in a home, and would love your help. I can be a bit unsure of other dogs, but I am still curious, so all introductions must be taken slowly to help me figure it out. Hope to meet you down at the shelter!

animal # 576168

Hey everybody! My name is Minaki and I am looking for a very special home. I came to the shelter as a stray, so not much is known about my history, but I can tell you that I love people. I am an older gent that is around 10 years old and I've got to be honest, my body is saying it's time to slow down. Even though my vision and hearing are going, I still have quite the energy. I also had quite a few fleas on me when I arrived here and have lost some of my hair from chewing at them. I will need quality, monthly flea control for the rest of my life. I am the biggest sweetheart and am looking for someone young enough to exercise, yet patient enough to help me through my golden years. If you think you're that person, please come and meet me. I am about 55 pounds.
